FPCC Holiday Card Contest
Do you know a young and aspiring Indigenous artist who lives in B.C. and loves to draw, colour, or paint? Make sure to tell them about the FPCC Holiday Card Contest!
The First Peoples’ Cultural Council is holding a Holiday Card Contest to celebrate creativity, culture, and young Indigenous artists. Indigenous youth in B.C. from ages 5-12 are invited to enter the contest and share their traditions, language, community and family through their artwork!
To join, scan and submit your holiday-themed original artwork by Oct. 28th to the online form on the 2026 FPCC Holiday Card Contest webpage. The top submissions from each age category (5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12) will get $150 gift cards, printed cards with their design, and the honour of being featured on the 2026 FPCC Holiday Card (which will be sent to First Nations Communities in B.C., FPCC’s funders, partners, colleagues, and networks). Plus, the two runners-up in each category will receive $50 gift cards. But most importantly, it’s a fun way to celebrate culture and traditions around the holiday season through art!
See the full details of the contest at the 2026 FPCC Holiday Card Contest webpage, and share the FPCC Holiday Card Contest with your community, friends and family! You can even check out an example of a young 2024 winner’s holiday artwork on the FPCC Instagram. To all the young artists participating: Happy Drawing!
