How much does the program cost?
This program is completely free.
Am I eligible to get tutoring?
If you self-identify as Indigenous, yes!
What grades and subjects?
K-12 Math, Science, and English (Language Arts).
Some tutors can also teach non-core subjects.
How often is tutoring?
To start off, we recommend 45 mins twice a week. However, the duration and frequency is ultimately up to the student.
When does the program run?
The program runs throughout the school year. You can start and stop at any time.

Our main platform is Zoom, but others can be used.
Are the tutors trained?
Yes. They are trained in tutoring, mentoring, and Indigenous safety by SFU faculty.
Who are the tutors?
University students and alumni.
Is there in-person tutoring?
At this point in time, we don't have the capacity to offer this.
