SFU Second Annual Honouring Indigenous Students Traditional Powwow

Updated: Mar 24

The First Nations, Métis and Inuit Student Association at Simon Fraser University is holding their second annual "Honoring Indigenous Students" Traditional Powwow. This event is open to all people and will be held on April 20, 2024 at West Gym, Simon Fraser University, 8888 University Dr W, Burnaby, BC!

It is an amazing event featuring our Head Lady Keianna James and Head Man Mackenzie Clearsky with their special events. This powwow is our way of honoring Indigenous students of all nations who have come together at Simon Fraser University. There will be food, vendors and traditional dancing.

If you would like to volunteer with us, please follow the link to our google sign up sheet: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeOJ1QkwAdnmWW3zJVjQggd9nEEn4kGSs_QpeeeEEK7dXqjAw/viewform.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Student Association at powwow@fnmisa.ca.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!
