Happy National Indigenous Peoples Day

Happy Indigenous Peoples Day! It is a wonderful day to be Indigenous, and we hope you are able to get out there and enjoy everything the day has to offer.

As a settler, I am excited to celebrate Indigenous peoples and voices on the traditional lands that I am so thankful to live on. The Kwantlen, Katzie, and Semiahmoo nations are hosting an Indigenous wellness event in my hometown, and I look forward to attending and connecting with those who have resided here time immemorial.

Also, for those of us who are non-Indigenous settlers, this is also a great day to deeply think about the lands that we live, work, and play on. You can find further information on these Indigenous territories here!

Have the most wonderful day, everyone!
