Shay Denis (She/Her)

Shay is an undergraduate student at SFU studying biomedical physiology. She is Métis from the Cree Nation, but was not raised practicing Métis traditions. In her spare time in high school, she started to learn about her heritage and continues to learn and help with advocacy for indigenous people. Shay spends most of her time outside of school working with others including private tutoring, peer tutoring for SFU and teaching dance. She also loves to read, go hiking and play the piano.
