ITMP Vice Chief, Secretary and IT Administration

Simon Fraser University

Basil is an undergraduate engineering student at SFU who likes to use their skills to make a positive impact in their communities. In the past, they have been a peer mentor for first-year engineering students, volunteered with SFU's Science Alive and Faculty of Applied Science outreach programs, and helped run workshops that aim to give youth and underrepresented groups a chance to engage with STEM. Basil maintains the IMTP website and assists with internal administrative tasks and IT issues. They welcome constructive feedback, so if you would like to make a correction/point out an error on the website, or have a suggestion on how to improve the website, please feel free to send an email to indigenoustutoring@gmail.com with the subject line "IMTP Website", and the team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Although Basil is not a mentor, if you are a student interested in engineering and want to ask some questions about their experience, or for career advice, please reach out! They are more than happy to talk to you and share their insights, experience, advice, and networking connections.
