Adisan (She/Her)

Adisan is a current student at Hope Secondary school. She is Métis and Nlaka'pamux from Spuzzum First Nation. She was taught a lot of traditions throughout her life and attended many traditional ceremonies. She grew up around Spuzzum’s culture but didn’t really know what it meant. In her spare time, she began learning more about her heritage and continues to learn and help with advocacy for other Indigenous People. Adisan also spends a lot of her time writing blogs for the ITMP and is in charge of the social media accounts for the program. She is an advocate for learning First Nation languages in school. She likes reading, learning new things, and spending time with family.
